Celebrating Apprentices

EVENT PLANNING IDEAS FOR NAW 2024:

  • Host a Townhall Meeting on Apprenticeships with an Elected Official.

  • Open houses: Career seekers can visit an open house to learn more about apprenticeship programs.

  • Community forums: These forums can be a great way to highlight apprenticeship programs.

  • Apprentice graduations: Celebrate apprentices who have completed their programs.

  • Business open houses: Businesses can open their doors to highlight their apprenticeship programs.

  • High school career fairs: Career fairs are a great way to promote apprenticeship programs to high school students.

  • Invite external speakers: Invite local business leaders, employers, or parents who have done apprenticeships to speak at your school or college.
